Waller had talked about sending in the Squad, but Alyssa had insisted that between herself and Jessica, they could handle this mission. They certainly had the skills necessary to pull off an operation like this she had thought at the time.

No sooner had Alyssa snapped the cuffs around his wrists, than the building and the ground they were standing on started to shake. The only sound in the apartment was the rushing water coming out of the faucet as Alyssa stood slightly slumped over the sink, looking down at the water for a few minutes before she reached down, cupping her hands to gather some water. She splashed the water into her face to wash away the memories as much as the sweat. But it didn’t help. The memory would be back, it was always back, every night.
