[attr="class","official-content"]Born in Starling city he was born into a family of the Starling elite having been part of a family that possessed great wealth, and considered as part of the Starling Elite. Even with being born into a wealthy family Markos didn't have an easy life, and along with his siblings they had to fight and compete for whatever they wanted, which included their family's affections. Neither of his parents were very affectionate even to their children, to which they proved more than once forcing their child to prove they were worthy of the family, and what affection they were capable of giving them. For a time he always attempted to prove himself but more often than not he would fall short of his parents high standards, falling shorter than his other siblings becoming something of a black sheep to the family. By the time he reached fifteen years of age he had become quite the disappointment his parents with so many failures that they went as far as to disown and abandon him, leaving him to fend for himself within the glades.
[break][break]Life in the glades proved to be difficult even more difficult than the life he had while he was still part of the Belmont family, but after getting rid of his limited mindset and limited sense of morality he found ways to survive. It no longer mattered to him if he had to hurt others to survive he was out for himself, as such stealing from places and other people weren't methods of survival he saw as beneath him. During his time on the streets he was taken in by a small group of people whom did anything to survive just like him, but for the most part resorted to pick pocketing people, robbing stores, and stealing food. He spent a number of years with the group with some being older than him, some were around the same age as himself, and the others were younger than him. The group become somewhat of a family to him and most definitely showed more compassion to him than his own family did, and while with the group he picked up a number of skills.
[break][break]For the most part the criminal actions the group and Markos would take would be minor and rarely anyone was ever hurt with stealing from stores and shops after they had been closed to ensure no one got hurt. The leader group made sure he and the rest minimized the risk to bringing physical harm to people wanting to stay away the more dangerous criminal elements to the city. Markos thought the group could do so much more and achieve so much more, and when the leader died under suspicious circumstances he used the situation to claim leadership. Under his leadership Markos and the group did more than steal just what they needed, with his greed he and the others later resorted to robbing a banks among other things. Not everyone liked the direction they were going in, and as such those that voiced their negative opinions left the safety of the group, some even forcefully removed from the group.

With Telekinesis he can move objects and people around him without physically touching them among other things. He is capable of exerting enough force to flip a truck, however using his telekinesis to do something so big would leave him drained and exhausted. He can stop projectiles fired at him in mid flight, and can even control someone's body to a limited degree, and has been known to use his telekinesis to choke people. Creating telekinetic blasts can allow him to deal with multiple foes at the time, however they will never kill at best knocking people unconscious. He can also use his telekinesis to cut through things just as objects and people, however the more durable the object the harder it becomes for him to cut through it. He can also use his telekinesis to lift himself up what causing his to levitate allowing him to sneak up on people if need be with eliminating the sound of foot steps.

[attr="class","official-content"]Powered people were no secret to the world such people existing were in fact public knowledge, and with the knowledge of people with superhuman abilities existing they have become targets for a number of people and organizations with Hydra being one of the organizations. Recently powered people had been abducted by hydra cell specifically ordered by one man connected to Wolfgang von Strucker and his own experiments. It was unknown how exactly the cell were locating people with powers, and the experiments done to the subjects were far from humane. Thane found himself the latest target of the Hydra cell with agents breaking into his home while his slept, which resulting in him being woken up by the noise. The agents came through wearing gas masks and to successfully capture Thane they used knockout gas to which he had no defense against.

When he awoke Thane found himself chained down to some chair it turned out he had been in the cell's possession for a few days and them being unaware of his strength or the level of his strength believed the restraints to be enough. During his time in Hydra's custody he was kept sedated as they performed experiments on him, which allowed them to discover his incredible durability just not the limits of the durability. Waking up he looked around the room trying to figure out where he was there were no windows to the outside, and as he looked around he took notice of some people in lab coats. Along with scientists there was also an armed guard in the room which Thane figured was for the lab coats protection. Still not at full strength he decided to buy himself some time in an attempt to avoid being sedated again, which meant answering questions. The Scientists started asking him about his gifts specifically how he acquired them and any limitations they had, but of course he had no intention of answering with complete honestly.

Looking at the scientist answering the question he attempted to buy himself some more time. "What makes you think I'm going to tell you the limits of my powers? Do you honestly think I'm that stupid? As for the origin of my powers I was born with them." With the guard out of commission and more likely to come he went on to get answers out of one of the scientists as quickly as he could.
