[attr="class","official-content"] Okami was Adopted by the Dekoto family. He had a great childhood. Even as a child Okami developed a love for technology. He was a great student excelling in all of his classes. Although he was usually the primary suspect if something went wrong in school he had a good heart. Okami hacked into the camera system during his high school career and shortly after lead a charge of students out of the school during a lunch period. He was caught, and had to serve a good amount of detentions. He made a name for himself both inside of class and out. After High school his love for technology and programming grew and sprouted into college. His professor right away spotted Okami as a star pupil. Okami was helping with projects that other students couldnt even comprehend yet. Then one day as his professor took him to a showcase of a new hardware that was installed into a super computer at one of Central City's computer labs, the particle accelerator exploded causing the super computer along with the hardware to malfunction without warning. Okami attempted to type in kill codes to shut down the hardware, which would lead to the super computer powering off. But as soon as his fingers laid upon the key board the super computetr sent out an electric shock into Okami and exploded shortly after. Okami woke up in the hospital. He was then informed that he was the only survivor. A heart monitor was attached to Okami. He was starving. Out of boredom Okami glances at his heart rate monitor and on the screen it says "I need food". Okami was taken back by the message and thought it was a stupid joke being played on him. Suddenly the next message on the screen was "this is pathetic". Okami was now really confused. He quickly thought of something and then looked at the monitor. "Bacon". At the sight of that message he jumped to his feet in confusion looking around the room to find a explanation for the monitors behavior. He laid his hand on the monitor as he tried to examine it and watched as electricity poured from his hand into the monitor eventually causing the screen to explode. After his discovery he began spending time and eventually learning his powers to control technology. Once he worked out his kinks he went straight to a casino and cheated the machine with his powers. He'd cheat the casino's with ease. He would use the electric machines and place his palms onto the machine like any other normal gambler would. The electricity would be able to flow in unseen due to the palms being pressed firmly onto the machine covering any sparks. No camera footage could show any cheating, the trick worked perfectly. Okami got so confident that he was doing it in front of workers and once he won he'd act surprised and go nuts, even giving some of his winnings to the workers watching him. His thoughts being "they cheat us so whats so wrong if we get the last laugh this time." Becoming a young millionare returned him to his more wild side as he began throwing luxorious parties at his penthouses. His parties were as others would say... "electric". Okami now wishes to protect central city and use his powers for good, most of the time.

Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows mental interface with computer data.
Okami has to be relatively close to the technology he wishes to control and could be at a disadvantage if he is away from modern society.
